What time do I arrive?Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to services.

Where should I park?Parking is in the front lot on Oberlin Road and also in the rear lot on Chester Road.

Where do I enter the building?You may enter the building through the front door, which leads directly to the sanctuary. You may also enter through the rear door which provides access to the Fellowship Hall, classrooms and stairs/elevator to the sanctuary.

Is the church handicap accessible?The church is handicap accessible from both the front and back entrances. We also have a lift to facilitate access to the pulpit and choir loft.

How big is the church?We are a small church in numbers, but mighty in missions and our love of God and each other.

What should I wear when I visit?Dress comfortably. You will see a wide range of attire from jeans to suits and dresses.

What is the style of worship at SJBC?Worship is generally traditional with a mix of formal and informal styles.

May a visitor take communion?Here at St. John’s we practice Open Communion. That means that all are welcome at the Lord’s table.

Are small children welcome?Small children are welcome both in the church and in worship. A nursery is available as well.

What should I do if I have more questions?Contact a staff member or call/email the church. We are happy to answer your questions.

How can I join the church?You can join the church by speaking with the ministers during any worship service and by taking one of these two steps: If this is your first time joining any church, you may make a public profession of faith which will be followed by a baptism. If you have previously been baptized into any church, you may reaffirm your faith in Jesus Christ and state your intention to join this church.
